Why We Founded Freyja Fit
Freyja Fit was born from a simple realisation: women deserve gym equipment that's designed for them. As a mother of two young boys and a fitness enthusiast myself, I experienced firsthand how transformative weightlifting can be — not just for physical strength, but for mental wellbeing, especially during and after pregnancy.
Walking into gyms filled with intimidating black equipment, I saw a gap in the market and an opportunity to change the narrative. Women were being overlooked in the fitness equipment industry, and I wanted to create something different — equipment that's professional-grade in quality but designed with women in mind. Equipment that makes you smile when you see it and feel empowered when you use it.
That's why I founded Freyja Fit in 2024 — to build a brand that truly understands and celebrates women at every stage of their fitness journey.
